The USA returns to Soldier Field--site of their CONCACAF Gold Cup Championship victory over Mexico earlier this summer--to face 2007 Copa America title holder Brazil, currently the No. 1-ranked team in the world and a five-time FIFA World Cup winner. This Clash of Champions, presented by NIKE, kicks off this Sunday (September 9) at 3 p.m. Over 30,000 fans have now purchased tickets, which continue to be in high demand for this historic game.
Two-time FIFA World Player of the Year and Brazilian soccer wizard Ronaldinho headlines the roster named by Brazil Head Coach Dunga on August 23 (click here for the full roster). Other superstars on the squad include AC Milan midfield general Kaká and Real Madrid forward Robinho, among others. On September 3 USA Head Coach Bob Bradley named his list of 19 players, including former Chicago Fire standouts DaMarcus Beasley, Carlos Bocanegra and Josh Wolff (click here for the full roster).
